Review the specifications of PR as preparation for floating to the vendors. Prepare bid control sheet for supervisor approval. Follow-up to vendors who have not yet submitted bid. Price analysis and negotiation to vendors. Prepare bid abstract of quotation for supervisor approval. Process Purchase Order and send to the vendor. Standardization of material specifications in SAP Material Master, cataloguing, checking the as-built dwgs, jobsite inspection of equipment nameplate (mfr name, model no, type no, serial no, capacity, tdh, etc.). Inspection of newly delivered materials. Review vendor catalogue and improve the material specifications so that buyer can float to vendors. Create new sap no with standard technical description, material and purchasing groups. Update material specifications in SAP as per end user advised & manufacturer catalogue. Ensure that all spare parts, equipment and operational materials have complete specifications before buyer will float to the vendors. Provide technical assistance to maintenance, material planners & procurement. Assist buyers in technical evaluation of vendor offer.
